Who is the Lead Trainer for this Program?​

Karin Tafur

AI governance expert and corporate AI trainer | Advisor | Author | Int. Speaker

Karin Tafur brings nearly a decade of experience in AI, specialising in AI ethics, regulation, responsible innovation, and AI governance. She advises AI initiatives within the Innovation/Portfolio Lab of the Inter-American Development Bank (US/Latin America) and serves as an Expert Evaluator for Horizon Europe at the European Commission, assessing strategic AI and digital innovation projects.

 

Her international academic experience includes an affiliation with the Information Society Law Center (ISLC) at the University of Milan, an academic appointment as Adjunct Professor at emlyon Business School, and her current teaching role in AI governance at a Paris-based technical institution.

 

In addition to her advisory and academic work, Karin supports public and private sector organisations in adopting AI responsibly and designs and delivers specialised AI training programmes with the support of an expert team, strengthening organisational capabilities, enabling strategic AI adoption, and addressing AI-related opportunities and risks.
